About me

I enjoy exploring, photographing and sharing moments in nature. When photographing wildlife, I find that being in the right place at the right time often involves spending a lot of time in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I was honored to have my image of a White-headed Woodpecker in the snow included in the 2020 Audubon Photography Awards: Top 100.

All subjects are wild animals in their natural environment. Subjects are never baited and are primarily shot using a long lens or from within a blind to minimize disturbance.

I am a life-long resident of the Pacific Northwest, currently living in the woods of Oregon.
